How it worksHow private blood testing works in Toronto

Choose your membership and any add-ons. A licensed NiaHealth clinician orders your tests, so you don't need a referral.
Get your blood drawn
Visit a Dynacare location in Toronto, or have a mobile phlebotomist come to your home or office ($100 a draw). It takes 10 to 15 minutes.
See your results
Your results land in your dashboard in 5 to 9 days, with plain-language explanations for each marker.
Talk it through
Book a virtual consult with a nurse practitioner, who walks you through your results and builds your action plan. Your second draw shows what's changed.

Blood testing in Toronto: what to know
In-clinic or at home
NiaHealth gives Toronto members two ways to get their blood drawn. You can visit a Dynacare location across Toronto and the GTA at no extra cost, or have a Dynacare mobile phlebotomist come to your home or office for $100 a draw ($200 a year for both). Either way, the same clinician-ordered panel is tested and your results land in the same dashboard.
No referral needed
You don't need a family doctor or a referral. A clinician licensed in Ontario orders your tests and reviews your results. Then a nurse practitioner walks you through them in a virtual consult.
DEXA and VO2 max in Toronto
Toronto is one of six NiaHealth cities where you can add both a DEXA scan ($120) and a VO2 max test ($160) to your membership. Many members pair them with their blood work, so body fat, fitness and biomarkers sit in one place. With an in-clinic draw, you can also add the Inflammation Panel.
Private, not billed to OHIP
NiaHealth is a private membership, so it isn't billed to OHIP. See everything we test or read how it works.
