Eligibility:
- Must be currently employed by SPS
- Must be full-time or working full-time equivalent hours
- Priority will go to:
(1) shift workers
(2) those with longer years of service

Complete your onboarding
Once we confirm your spot by email, we’ll send you instructions to register and choose your plan.
As part of registration, you will be required to complete our 15-minute questionnaire to share details about your medical history and lifestyle. Completing this step is essential before scheduling your blood test.
Please note: In partnership with the University of Alberta and NiaHealth, SPS participants will have the option to participate in a research study. The study will investigate the utility of NiaHealth dashboard exposure on health behaviours, willingness to change for health and the degree to which users are satisfied with their user experience.

After signing up, you'll receive details to help you schedule your in-office blood draw. Be sure to review the pre-draw instructions carefully before your appointment.
The group blood draws for SPS employees are scheduled throughout September. Exact dates, times, and locations will be shared later.

NiaHealth’s services are not covered under public/government health insurance plans in Canada. However, our service is an HSA-eligible expense (in addition to CRA-eligible medical expense), but it is recommended that you check with your insurer first. You should review the terms of your private health insurance plan or consult with your insurance plan provider to determine if NiaHealth’s service is eligible for reimbursement under your private health insurance plan or any other supplemental benefits.
All biomarkers are ordered and reviewed by an Authorized Medical Provider licensed to practice in your province. If you require additional information for insurance coverage, please contact us directly with the specific information required (via our contact us form). Each insurance provider may require different information for eligibility.
