01

The role

We're hiring a lifecycle marketing manager with a product-focused mindset. This role is the bridge between D2C acquisition on email and SMS, and the retention motion for existing members.

At Nia, lifecycle goes well beyond sending a few emails, a couple of texts, and pulling a monthly report. This program is a core part of our revenue motion, with a direct impact on customer LTV, and it feeds paid, SEO, and referrals. Creativity is how new experiments get found.

Half your time supports the D2C lifecycle motion. The other half supports the product team, with a heavy focus on existing user engagement and retention. You'll report to the Head of Marketing and work closely with product and CX to turn customer feedback into tests and better results.

Our lifecycle motion is under a year old. This is a rare chance to take it and evolve it into a revenue-generating machine at the earliest stage, where every consumer touchpoint compounds into the trajectory of the business.

About NiaHealth

Healthcare shouldn't wait for illness to start helping you.

We're building a new kind of healthcare: proactive, personalized, and built around you. Staying healthy shouldn't be confusing, time-consuming, or reactive. It should feel empowering.

We're creating a digital-first experience that gives Canadians real insight into their health, early, clearly, and in ways they can actually act on. No noise, no medical jargon. Just meaningful data, thoughtful design, and a product people trust to help them feel better and live longer.

This isn't a patient portal. It's not a telehealth app. It's a true health partner.

We're early-stage and moving fast. A small team doing big things. We've grown significantly since launch, been featured in BetaKit, Breakfast Television, and The Logic, and are backed by Tier 1 investors including operators from Shopify, Uber, and Wattpad.

03

What you'll own

Audience nurture

You own the audience lists from the moment someone enters as a lead, and build the motions that convert them into members. You know a 5% lift in conversion is a big win, and you know how to design flows and copy that give people the right information at every step.

Program benchmarks

You know what good looks like for unsubscribe rate, opens, click-through, and conversion. You're responsible for setting the best practices that get us to our revenue targets.

End-to-end building

Design, build, ship, test, without waiting for someone else. Mock screens in Figma, write the copy, ship experiments in Klaviyo, and validate data in real time. You set up your own Zaps, connect webhooks to Klaviyo, make sure the right lists and segments are pulled, and move quickly.

Retention and renewals

Supporting the product team means managing the right email series every month, sometimes 15 emails a month for product alone. You can juggle a busy lifecycle calendar and know when to plug in a series for maximum impact on existing members.

04

About you

Proactive problem solver. You're always spotting ways to improve the customer journey. You bring ideas, not just execution, and you'll challenge the status quo when you see a better path to sign-ups, engagement, or renewals.
Customer journey thinker. You think holistically about lifecycle. Not email alone, but in-app, SMS, push, banners, and landing pages orchestrated into journeys that move people toward healthier outcomes.
Conversion-focused. A track record of measurably improving lead-to-purchase conversion, open rates, and click-through against existing benchmarks to hit revenue goals.
Analytically rigorous. You're curious about data. Whether a test has run three days or a flow is on its fifth iteration, you know which data points matter, and you'll tweak an experiment quickly and back the next step with numbers.
Independent operator. You don't wait to be told what to build. You mock in Figma, write copy, build flows, and make Zapier, Klaviyo, and Intercom talk to each other so launches go out clean.
Strong copywriter. Content is more than words in an email. You know how SMS copy differs from email, you can write for a highly regulated industry, and you make sure clinical review happens before anything ships.
Radically transparent. You decide in the open, write out the tradeoffs, flag when the math is shaky, and still make the call. You give direct feedback and take it well. Say no when the data defends your stance.
Fast pace, high craft. Default is ship now, refine later, especially for one-off series and experiments. But you know when to invest in something foundational, and you can shift when priorities do.
Grounded under pressure. When benchmarks aren't met you dig into the why and improve it quickly. Failed experiments come with the role. Learning from them and launching the next one is the job.
Bonus points
Health-tech, digital health, yearly membership programs, or wellness. You understand lifecycle in a health platform is tied to whether someone feels healthier, not just the first purchase.
Early-stage startup experience where you wore multiple hats: product, marketing, analytics, CX, whatever moved the number.
You've personally built and managed an entire lifecycle motion, flows and audience curation included.

How we work

Seven philosophies run the company. They're the fastest way to know whether you'd like it here.

01
Speed wins

Perfect is the enemy of great. Fast decisions, fast learning, frequent iteration. If something isn't working, we fix it quickly.

02
Evidence over hype

Science first. Real clinicians, real data, grounded in what genuinely improves health. We don't chase trends or replace doctors with AI.

03
Raise the bar, always

Talent compounds. Every new hire should make the team stronger. Excellence attracts excellence.

04
Mission is fuel

Startups are hard and progress is messy. The way through is believing in what we're building and showing up to make it real.

05
Ownership is everything

No passengers. See a problem, fix it. Own a project, drive it. Don't wait for permission.

06
Feedback is a gift

We're direct with each other because we care about getting better. Giving and receiving it well is core to how we grow.

07
Stay humble, stay hungry

However good we get, we can get better. Open-minded, curious, learning faster than the world around us.
